The tips are a bit bigger than I would like, but I can't do better without building it myself (which won't be half as perty) or buying something from like Yosh or someone (which won't be half as inexpensive). Pissed me off because we spent 4 hours sifting through the catalog to find this particular model then I found them on ebay, with all stainless packing, for half the price. Oh well. The stainless cans will look the same except they're made of metal. I strongly suggest the carbon fiber cans, though, as repacking them is possible.
At any rate the cans are about 5" in diameter and 18" long from inlet to tip. The tip is about 3" across. Cores are 2.5" (don't worry about it being big...it's a moot issue by the time it gets to the muffler). Cans will include removable baffles which are actually very effective (they make my TL go from banshee-esque screaming to a nice rumbly purr).
wow that those look awesome!
are they ready for sale yet?
how much are you selling them for?
is the exhaust just the can, or a full system?
you can get rid of two of those pictures, there all the same
it's going to be a full system and they're not for sale yet. It's going to be about 2 weeks, I hope...if my test-bike-man can make himself availble.
and oops...check back in a minute for the other two pic....I forgot to change the number with my cut/paste job...
are you planing to fit for the F model? on the duel will it be on one side or one on each
I might be interested, would you give me a PM when they are ready? Thanks.
ps thats a nasty cut on your left hand
drac...it'll be really noisy when they're completed...it'll be hard to miss if you're a regular.
Ranger...The dual high mount I'm hoping to fit both F and E models...the single high mount WILL fit both, as well as a single low mount (which will both up just like stock).
And you should have seen it before I superglued it back together. Seeing your own bones is pretty nifty. Be wary of wearing gloves in close-quarters enviroments while using angle grinders with cutting discs. My glove got caught on something and my grinder bound up...I was literally a 1/4" from losing my index finger and thumb.
you have pretty hands for some one who uses angle grinders and works on shaZam! regularly.
are you a woman?
ummm...sure...why not.
wear you leathers kids, or loss a finger (or two)
If you'll reread what I posted you'd know that it was because I was wearing safety gear that I got injured.
whiner.
BONUS!!
I just got off the phone talking to this guy and he directed me to a few of his auctions and told me about some of his other products...key thing here is that I can get these carbn cans in black, red, blue, yellow, green and (maybe) purple.
i'm not blind i read it, geuss

He's a fabricator. It goes with the job. If you want, I will show you my shortened index finger. I'm a machinist.
Thats one thing I dont miss from being a machinist, is the constant cuts & scratches. Having a nice cosy office job I have nice purdy hands now. 8)
The look good under the bike Mak. :thumb:
what;s funny is I have a nice cushy office job.
The only thing that pisses me off about all the machine work is knowing that if I disregard safety gear, I'll get hurt in preventable ways...like if I don't wear gloves or sleeves I get flash burns. If I wear safety gear, dangers circumvent it...like when I wear gloves while grinding on something, the glove snags and puts me in a bind which causes the grinder to kick and run across my hand.
have you come up with any sort of ballpark figure for the prices yet? especially the highmount duel and single systems.
P.S: you do have very pretty hands. you must moisturize.....

I'm interested. My only reservation is how much longer I'm going to own the bike. But definitely would like to get a new exhaust if I keep her.
Thanks
