hi i have noticed there is a tag in my jacket that says blood type or blood group i was a bit put off by it has anyone filled it in i didint 1 becausse i dont know what my blood type is and 2 because i think it is bad luck what do you guys thing
i would, it could be the difference if you need it, i have my old dog tags as my key ring, it has my name and blood type on it.
I'd fill it out for sure. I don't have on in my jacket. But I'm having a set of mil-spec (supposedely) dog tags made up for me, with my blood type, religion, etc, to be worn at all times. Just in case.
In the military or on the racetrack or in other controlled situations it is a good thing without doubt but if you were involved in a road accident I think the Emergency Services would assume nothing and simply ignore it. There are too many risks involved. If it was needed they would do a blood test there on the spot to identify your group and be 100%certain its correctly identified. They dont know if its your jacket or if you have borrowed it or just bought it 2ndhand, nor do they know if you have correctly quoted your blood group on the tag to start with.

lmfao... it's true... I'm B Pos... and a donor.. that's why we ride donor-cycles, right? (I'm so sick of hearing my stepmom refer to it as that... she can't get it through her head that I'm not going to sell it.. I JUST bought the damn thing.. besides... cages are boring now!)
I don't have a place to write that in my jacket, but I have it on my emergency sheet that goes everywhere with me. My emergency includes a brief medical history, all the meds I take, my blood type, what I'm allergic to, and special instructions in case I can't speak for myself. O0
