Not sure why its not working or if this is the correct place to post this. But...
Went to go put my avatar picture into the profile section. And I pulled it off my own forum where it sized below the max of the ones I've seen here, I think, and it didn't give me an error.
Any ideas?

Nope ... it should work.
Is the URL in your profile right now, or did you remove it?
Yeah like kerry said you gotta put the url not the image tag
I put the URL in. And it didn't update. Let me try it in IE. It shouldn't matter then im using Firefox but just in case
I just wondered if the URL was still in your profile, or if you had removed it. Sometimes it seems like your own machine won't update right away, even though others can see your changes.
I can't see an avatar for you, so either the format is wrong in your Profile, or you removed the URL when it didn't work for you. (I just can't tell which. :dunno_white:)
For your next attempt, try copying the URL straight from the Properties of the image in your first post above (which obviuosly works) and paste it into your Profile.
It wasnt the URL. It was the bullet next to it. I didn't think to hit that. So now my avatar is showing
SUCCESS :thumb:!
Edit:

I just went and looked at that screen. The "bullet" you mentioned is a single-option
radio button! :o Shouldn't that be a
checkbox? What if I need to turn it off? I guess removing the URL would work, but a checkbox would still make more sense.... :cookoo:
Shouldnt the be in the test area?
and im not trying to be a jerk, I just thought about that and.........
Congrats on the avitar

You are a jerk. It's OK though, we accept it.
It would have been in the test area. Except that this started as a question more then a test.
