Post by: dchrist on July 06, 2006, 12:33:12 PM
can anyone tell me what size tubing I can use to drain through the valves under the carb? don't want to waste a trip to the hardware store.

thanks!

1/8" or 3/16" I.D. will work fine.  I use 1/8".

As I discovered, no pipe drains just fine, all over a hot engine.  :o

Really a small enough pot will fit under the carbs. I used the lid from a WD40 can.

Gives a whole new meaning to your nick...

(if that doesn't translate: In German the term "red cok" refers to a ravaging fire.)
