Title: OK need some help

OK i read the how to on checking the valve clearence and got everything tore down and out of the way and now I dont know what the hell to do next.  It says to line up marks but i cant see what he hs talkking about in the pics and I dont know where to stick the feeler gage to check the clearence  so far I have looked at this thing for the past 30 mins and im stuck please  if you have some bigger pics of this operation please help   I also have 2004 gs if that makes a difference.  Thanks.

alsome tutorial Kerry   thanks  All valves in spec but one exause valve at .076 so Ill have to keep an eye on that one.   Thanks again.

It wasn't until after I shot and "published" the video that I came across this info in the Clymer manual.  (Hey, even though I prefer my Haynes manual, Clymer has some useful stuff.  I never said it didn't!  ;))

Still, I'm not sure I agree with the red flag about "possible engine damage".  You'd have to be really sloppy with your measurements!  The next time I check my clearances I will measure in all 3 positions (the ones in the diagram and the "perpendicular to the shim" position I use in the video) and compare.  I doubt that I will be able to detect the difference. :dunno_white:
