does anyone know where i could find a sheet of abs plastic. i wanted to take out my brake light and fill in the space with the plastic but i have no idea where to find the stuff
Home depot sells sheets of plexiglass in varying thicknesses
Solo,
Check w/ a local model railroad and/or hobby shop. Often they carry small sheets (6"x8") of plastic of varying thicknesses that can be cut, shaped, and painted for a variety of uses. "Plastruct" and "Evergreen" are two specific brand names.
There are two basic kinds to look at: Acrylic (plexiglass) and Polycarbonate (Lexan). Acrylic is cheaper and more scratch-resistant but is also more brittle and harder to cut/shape cleanly. Polycarbonate is much stronger but it costs more and it's harder to find in different colors. Your local plastic shop or home store should have both in different thicknesses available.

Uhh... Take out your BRAKE LIGHTS?!? :o :dunno_white:
I hope this is a track bike mod!
no its not a track mod. i am going to put leds on the back but i need a piece of plastic as a base for the board. As far as where to get it do you all think that home depot or lowes would have what i am looking for.
