what the stealership services your bike what do they do to it im sick of paying the barstards and i want to do it all myself thank you

just got mine done...

change oil & Filter
clean air fliter
clean & gap spark plugs
inspect valve clearances
drain & balance carbs
adjust mixtures
inspect all fluid levels
inspect steering head bearings
inspect wheel bearings
inspect suspension operation
adjust & lube chain
lube all pivot points
inspect brake system
adjust throttle & clutch freeplay
tyre pressures
clean battery terminals
inspect charge curcuit
inspect light & horn operation
inspect kill & safety switch operations
inspect all fasteners
road test

phew... all that for $448.00

How often should you do the service?  Didn't realize it was going to be so expensive.
