Title: Shortening the front turn signals
Post by: Mr.7 on July 12, 2006, 07:31:34 PM
I know that there are these instructions on the modifications page on how to shorten the turn signal stalks:

http://www.gstwin.com/shortstalks.htm

....But they only show how to do the rear turn signals.
Is their something wrong with doing the front turn signal stalks?
Is it basicly the same idea?

Just getting some info because I will probably be preforming this mod in the near future.

I don't think many have...  But, when I looked at doing it, they looked about the same as the rears.... .......

So, I'm guessing it'll be the same.

Just a thought you can buy afte market short stalk sturn signals for around 10 - 15 bucks.  Then either sell yours on ebay ( you will make money ) or keep them incase you ever want to return it to stock.

I did.  They are identical front to rear.   It's basically the same mod.  any one with a drill and bit can do it.
