Does your GS have a name?
Right now I call it "Brand New Broken Piece Of shaZam!" . Hopefully if I ever get to ride it it will get a much better name! :thumb:
Mine's the "GS500f"
i usually just call it 'the GS' or something.
"I'm going to take the GS for a ride"
"The GS sounds like a lawnmower"
Jenna.
After the first girl i knew who when I asked her about her martial arts classes and to show me.
She showed me.
It hurt.
A lot.
x
I was considering calling mine "Ski-doo," because it looks like one, and lately does have a marked tendency to do skids...
...or maybe "Parakeet" because of the lousy teal color
d3
The "Rice Rocket", that's what all my friends call it so it just kind of stuck around - plus now that I got an " F " model it looks like one!
some guy calls it a zukini and some other guy a rice burner but i have no name for my bike...... i dont need no name for a bike
Betsy.
Haven't thought of a good one yet. Leaning towards Serenity. Does that make me a geek?

The commuter = The Baby G
The ratbike = Ratbike :icon_mrgreen:
I call mine "Baby G" too.
"Hello my baby G, are you ready for a quick romp?" Usually followed by a hug and then a steamy :kiss3: on the tank. I love my bike! :thumb:

Dragonlover's GS's name is "Chibi" pronounced " chee-bee.
In Japanese, chibi is used to describe a short person or child. It may also connote a derogatory meaning when addressing a minor. It compares well to the English term "runt". (Also literally "dwarf" or "shrimp".) We've also seen the word translated as "brat".
My EX's name is "Kiseki"
and the SV's name is "Mira"
simply: my baby, same thing i call my cage and my girl (don't have to worry about calling anyone by the wrong name, so everyone's happy :thumb:)
Spanky
As in, Spanky needs progressives, Spanky needs emulators, Spanky needs a Katana rear.
Mine is Gooshie, however its reserved for the 89.
I had one for 10 years ... and it was gooshie. I had a 90 also in the middle and it was black-E cos it was black. Then I slapped blue body on the 89 which used to be white and it became blooshie. Then there was redshe, and santosh-E after my son and his first road trip to buy it. then came more gooshie's, black-E's and now again gooshie.
So now I say ... There is a popular misconcetion that a gooshie has to be white. This simply is not true.
There is another popular misconception that a gooshie has to be an 89. That however is true.
Cool.
Srinath.

Same as above except
"The GS sounds like a Sewing machine" mine was never loud enough to call it a lawnmower  :thumb:
I just went to Lexington Kentucky and picked up my new project GS. Since it is from horse country, I'll call it Horsey. My 89 racebike is #44, formerly known as #604. Werase643's racebike is #643, but whatever he rides on the street is called Mr Stinky. Don't follow him too closely!

Hello,
I'd like to drive up to PEI one day, maybe we can screw the sluts together all over PEI?
Jennifer.
Old friend that I had a crush on but never came to fruition.
My new girlfriend has officially named my bikes. The GS is now "Spunky" and the Virago is "Monkey", because we're both year of the monkey. Her R6's name is "Beast". The Spunky is still an 'it' though.
Not sure what you were searching that resurrected this, but anyways. . .
Her name is Rio
Her name is Sasha. I think it makes the wife a bit jealous...lol.
Well, Gee anybody know what my bike's name is?
Mary
No real name yet...I bought mine for my wife so I've just taken to calling it the She-zuki. Who knows what it will end up being called since it's not really "mine".
2goofy: Suzi and Junior say HI to Flick!
I call mine "Hornet" since it's yellow and black. It used to be bumblebee, but I didn't want it to follow the transformers :embarrassed:

Kevin?
Steve?
I dunno. Give up. Tell us. What's Flick's name?
Michael
My GS is Black Magic Woman - yeah, as in Satana's song.
My 919... well, I don't have a name for it yet. Hmmm.... lets have a contest... ok, new thread coming up...
Michael
My 2004 GS500 is named Taarna. The 1983 Yamaha DT100K I had before it was called Dirty (and sometimes Twitch). The 1987 XV535 bobber build doesn't have a name yet other than basket case, because it is a rolling chassis and a few milk crates full of parts.
how spunky is your monkey?
how released is your beast?
the moto stable is named now...
carving canyons will be a feast
Hi honey! :kiss3:
Welcome to the nuthouse!
Just wanted to use one of the older threads about naming GS'es, since there are 5 threads about naming GS'es.
Searched "name"

Serenity
OMG another girl! Thank goodness now they can talk about getting a picture of your Boobies!
Mary
Mrs. named hers Jack, short for Jack-Be-Nimble. (She still doesn't believe that the GS weighs the same as my Ninja 650; they just feel way lighter is all...)
And for the record, we've ended up naming all our vehicles, as they all most certainly have personalities. :D
I call mine "The Ape". Someone called it the grape ape once. I dont know why because its Teal, not purple. but the name stuck. Now I have a teal monkey from a Barrel of monkeys I am trying to attach to the bike.
