I saw one of these (http://www.thecreeper.net/mymb5.htm) riding down the street last night. It was the coolest, weirdest little bike I've seen. I guess they were available in America only one year, 1982. Weird little 50cc 5-speed "performance" bike. Dry weight on 172 pounds. And the coolest styling the 80s could produce. Check out those wheels! Check out that bodywork! No wonder it gets all the girls:

Anyway. Just thought it was an interesting bike.
that would be awesome. But out and crack down on the throttle, that would be the buzziest sounding sudo wheelie ever   But really that is a nifty looking little bike.
Oooh. Apparently they made them three whole years in Europe. And they got clip ons and a fairing.

I guess they were restricted to under 30MPH in Europe, since they're 50cc and technically mopeds. In the US, they made a whole 7.0 HP. I guess people have topped them out at 105 mph with modification (and even faster by replacing the engine).
Assuming the guy in the ad got lucky with the 3 adoring young ladies, I bet that bike was a real handful riding 4-up.
Dude, where do I find one?
I wonder what it would look like cutting a corner on the inside of a squid's CBR? (Yes, you know if I got the chance I would try.)
105? Damn....... So in theory that hopped up little 50 could run with a stock GS? Maybe even beat it by virtue of lower weight?
Don't you think its funny that they show it at a Malibu Grand Prix since the engine on the cars was probaly bigger then the bikes?
That thing looks like it'd be a blast to ride.
