So I was shopping around the local bike shops, and I came across a bike I couldn't refuse. A 2005 GS500F with only 970 miles on it. Still had the full warenty and allt hat good stuff, never dumped, in immaculae condition. this was the only gs500f in my area, new or used, period. While I wont be taking the course for another month, I couldn't pass this up, and regret not getting the bike i really wantred. http://www.ronnies.com/adams/preowned/2005gs500101995.htm thats the exact bike. More pictures to come upon delviery tomorrow :)
The price is a bit higher than if you had bought it privately, by about $600. But congrats on the new bike, it looks awesome!
yea, i probably could have found it cheaper, but there were NONE in my area. plus it came with a full warrenty, and free service for 3 years. i can't wait to learn to ride it!
supply and demand
yeah by the way, looks Great! Enjoy it!
Congrats!
Congradulations!
I like your taste...it's the same color, year, etc., that I just bought this past April, paid $4000. I don't remember how much miles were on it when I bought it. I do know that the original owner was a woman, was never dropped and maintained it in excellent condition.

thats cool! and what has your impression been of the bike? I've been hard pressed to find a legitamit review of these bikes. whats your experience been so far??
Matches mine almost exactally. So far I have no complaints except for the suspension bottoming out under hard braking. I'm gonna space the springs and see how that does.
Nice bike! But you did you try and talk them down? I paid $4295 for an 06 with only 250 miles and a full warranty from a dealer in May.
I paid too much for mine; but after having ridden it for 3 years, it seems like the purchase price was only a fraction of the cost of riding. Two tankbags, a trunk, two windscreens, two helmets, two pairs of boots, four pairs of gloves, pants, a jacket and an Aerostich suit... that extra few hundred dollars at the time of the initial purchase was no big deal.
Nice bike! :thumb:
