Post by: pandy on July 13, 2006, 09:39:51 PM
Well...I think I've come to the slow, agonizing conclusion that it's time to lower the SVS...  :o

Now...  when you mean "lowering" your bike, do you mean "dropping" your bike?  Again? :flipoff:

Well if your going to lower it anyway. Why not go for the full low rider look with the bike. Make your SVS stand out.

The person who knew which was the right cobbler to go to is the person who's still trying to wake from a coma on The Isle of Man after his sidecar accident. I haven't found the right cobbler yet, and I think the need is pretty critical for me to get my feetzez a bit more....uh...grounded..... I'm still going to get my boots built up, too!

Not a bad idea...I wonder if they make that thing you put on the front end to make the front end bounce!?  :flipoff: :icon_mrgreen:

Yeah a little hydraulic work on the front end to make it bounce. It would make doing the wheelies easier.

Have you set up the suspension, yet?

Do you need me to?

The bad: I'm going on a 5 day vacation tomorrow, so I wont be back til Wednesday.  I can squeeze you in in August.

I took it to Evolution Suspension. I don't think they did anything with the front end. I'm just getting tired of falling over. ;)

I think on the 20th, instead of going for a ride, I may come over and set-up your suspension.  Or, you come over and I cook chicken for dinner, you and Ceek are invited.  Bring the camera, we'll do the carb synch video.

We're going to be out of town that weekend. I'm thinking I need to just get my bike into the shop and have them do it as soon as they can fit me in... The poor thang is getting pretty...well...pretty UN-pretty after each drop, and we're going to run out of Gixxer parts to fix him up with!
