I was just thinking that a nice early morning ride was needed....unfortunately it's now afternoon and scorching outside...
I just got back from a pointless jaunt of about an hour.. good times... I didn't quite get out of state though... But I'm leaving for Georgia on the 10th or so.. that'll be my out of state.. I don't remember everythign else on the list... but I'm crossing em off, one by one..
some time i take the long way home, just to get some switch backs in me.
i love curve's!!!
you're such a lucky guy.
seriously... if I lived in such a historically celebrated part of the country, you'd find me on constant side trips to find the most obscure sights.

I thought I was the only one nutty enough to do stuff like that.
Before I layed it down I went on a 100 mile (200 round trip) search for breakfast.
Just kept riding until I went, "Hmmm that looks home-cooked"
I've heard it's great with friends, but nobody I know wakes up before 2pm.
Kind of like flying too. Let me tell you, being 1,000 feet above the ground watching the sun spill across the landscape as it rises is something you will NEVER forget.
(Best done in one of these)

Sure it only tops out at about 70 (EXTREMELY wind dependent LOL) but circling on a thermal 15 feet from a red-tailed hawk is fun.
Edit: Because I know someone will ask, yes it has a motor, puts out 64hp. 580cc's. Rotax.

Yeah ride when you can every time, I should be decorationg but I keep hearing these spooky noises, wait! It's the Will-o-the-wisps down on the marshes calling me,
Soooooooooooooozoooooooooki Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaamahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. How can I resist!
I'd be interested in some of the roads you ride in MD. I just moved from Columbia to Fairfax (wife and work). Most of the riding I do is VA/WV since my bike's always been in VA. It was a pain to get up to MD just to go for a ride - I only did it to commute while I lived there.
Oh - and I haven't taken the bike up to G'burg yet but I spent 4 years there and used to go driving for hours in the middle of the night. Tons of places to ride. 97 N is beautiful in the fall when the colors are changing. Just avoid 15 and you should be good to go.

I rode to Oklahoma once because I was bored. ~550 miles and home in time for dinner.
