Title: New GS owner
Post by: surferdave on July 18, 2006, 01:29:16 AM
Hey all,    just wanted to say hi to the fellow Gs owners out there.   I recently picked up a 1999 gs500e with 2700 miles on it for a little under $2300.   Bought from the orignal owners, never been down and runs like new.  Might have seen it on Ebay:  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=180002413501&ih=008&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT   anyway,  payed a bit more than i would have liked, but the bike really is in great shape, and used bike prices in SoCal are insane!  Anyway, i was just wondering if there were any other gs owners in the South Bay area, i'm down in Redondo and have been running through PV lately.  Anybody around and looking for fellow riders???    Thanks!

For the mileage and condition, it still sounds like a fair deal.  Enjoy the bike!

Yea, I too saw that bike on there and thought it was in good condition for its age...
For what you paid and the miles, I too think you got a pretty sweet deal..

I knoooooooow your going to enjoy the bike!

But yea, if you havent ridden alot, Id consider taking a course or two.
It can help ease the nerves some.... :o

Usually plenty of guys hooking up for rides.... In Fact, I'm doing a ACH Ride on Friday that if you're available, you should really try to attend.

Noob Friendly.
