That's awesome, man. i'm glad to hear that it's significantly brighter...AND it looks really good. It's funny, cause i have the same bike as you do...and i just came in the house after looking at my bike and trying to figure out if the Buell signals were the way to go (i was convinced that the stockers had to go). Might have to look into that...
That is the total opposite of what I did. I went for looks not safety but I drive on mostly back country roads with little or no traffic. It looks really good though, especially for something really safe. The clear looks really good with the silver. As bright as they are you might could shorten your stalks and still be really noticeable. Looks good though. If you wanna see the not so safe way of modding turn signals check out the post A New GS Owner's Adventure into Modifying. It was on the 2nd or 3rd page.

This is way off topic...but what is the need to cover up your license plate number? Thousands of people have the opportunity to see it every day. I'm sure there's a good reason so i want to hear it for future reference.

Hello Wrecent Wrider,
Amen on the mid life crisis thing. At 47, they said the same thing about me.
And very nice lights!! People with the flush mount turn signals (my 25 year old son, to name one) think they are really cool but it is very difficult for the oncoming traffic at an intersection to see them. I absolutely will not run them on my bike. I have even gone so far as to mount the Kisan Pathblazer to my headlight to make me even more noticeable. Nobody pulls out in front of me anymore.

Honda 70 . . . for the kids . . . yea, that's it.
So uhh.. since you got 4 sets on accident... how much for a pair for my fronts? (Since I'm probably gonna change to flush mounts in the rear, soon)...
We have the EXACT SAME BIKE... so I know exactly how they'll look on my bike!
A little off topic...but I bought the clear taillight that is LED with integrated turn signals....it's A LOT BRIGHTER than the stock one plus no more turn signals sticking out looking ugly!
they turned out real nice, good idea
Great looking bike :thumb: The clear look much better than the yellow ones.
I have intergrated brake / turn signals and altho some people say the are more dangerous they look a lot better to me ( my oppions (sp?) are mine are do not reflect anyone elses)
So far have not had 1 person try to rear end me. Hit the breaks people see the breaklight. . turn on turnsignal people are already looking at the break like so they see the turn signal :dunno_white:
Do wonder tho everybody that says that intergrated turn signals are more unsafe do you have stats to back that up or just your oppion (sp )?

Dude, have you ever seen flush mounts versus the dumbo ears? Flush mounts are in-f%$king-visible.
Umm yeah thats why I don't have flushmounts on my bike. Thought we were talking about ingergrated turn signal / brake lights.

Oh, my fault. I misread your post. My thoughts on integrated signals:
Cagers don't know wtf an integrated signal is. They're liable to wonder what's wrong with your brake light if they notice it at all.
You can't tell the desired direction from more than about 2 car lengths away.
You are giving up half of your brakelight.
I think I'll stick with dumbo.
