You can see the texture of the little monster's eyes! Sweet!  :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Dude very awesome. So long as it has less than eight legs I don't get creeped out.

I want a macro lens, but all I can afford right now is macaroni and cheese.

...."See reply #2 for Chris's current setup."

I saw that but he doesnt say the focal length.  With the Sigma line I would guess it may be the 70-300mm macro.  Would like to know if it's the apo lense as well because his pics are RAZOR SHARP.

Ahh.. gotcha... I think you're right on that guess, I think he mentions it somewhere else, but not positive. Lemme try another search for ya. And just so you know, despite the fact that I really am an @$$hole, that last post was meant to be a joke, not me being a duck.

The first says it's a 150, the second says it's a 105. I'm guessing typo on one of those. But I'm sure Chris will chime in here to let us know.

I'm pretty sure then it's 105mm 1:1 macro.  Which makes sense cause they are very close up shots.

Yeah I took "Noobcakes" as being a joke.  You're no duck.  Had an out loud chuckle on that one:-)

Woohoo! I won teh inter-webz!! (the last boss is HARD!)

Seriously Chris, the stuff you do is great! Question though.. When you're using that copy of PS, what all do you do? I mean, obviously, you're cropping, adding frames, etc... but are you adding filters, stylizing, messing with contrast, etc? I'm just curious as to how your final work compares to the rough shots you're taking?

i usually bump the levels up cause the d70 takes dark fotos. most digital images need to be sharpened so i do that a lot. other than that i try not to mess with the original
