I'm not sure if he's still making them; he's a busy guy. There's a thread kicking around here about his flanges... It might say something there.

I bought some bikemaster clubmans, and they fit like doo-doo. So I cut them and welded them back together like Srinath bars. Came out great. Good luck.

Hey Matty, I'm pretty sure the SM2 is the one you want.  They're pretty steep though.  Srinath usually sells his for like 45-50 bucks and I think he said his next bars are gonna be pretty sweet.  I can see why you'd be in a rush to get some new bars though, the stock ones are shaZam!, IMO.

Dude, do a search her for uhh.. SM2, or SM 2, they should both work. Or better yet, do a search for: SM 2 + "90" (Make sure you put the 90 in quotes), it'll search for SM 2 and 90 in the same post, and hopefully find you a link.... I know someone was getting em for like $90, instead of $150+. I don't know where though. As for the Srinath bars... nobody knows any real details, but supposedly, they'll be a combination of the benefits/styling of clipons and standard bars. If you can wait awhile, I'd highly recommend you just buy some cheapo superbike bars or something to hold you over until Srinath's are ready. The man's work is critically acclaimed her at GSTwins, and I'd say that if you can save $50-$100, it's worth a few weeks wait. That's why I'm waiting to buy Mak's homemade custom GS exhaust instead of a V&H or yosh exhaust.

Matty, yo man, don't be too down, some people are a little crazy here.

Yeah you've got some growing up to do. (I think all of us do) But don't let these guys get to ya!

I know that I didn't respect it enough until I went down. Now I respect that:

1. Ground is hard and very abrasive.
2. You are soft and not abrasion resistant.

But yeah, bars....

You might want to see about 89' clipon bars. IDK where pic might be, and I'm search lazy, so yeah, but I've seen em. Personally I think the SM2's are very awesome, if you get them let me know how they are.

Dude, PM Alpha, he has them methinks....

I bet it's pretty straightforward, but of course you always think that right before the f***er bursts into flames for no apparent reason.

Bwahaha.. that had me laughing out loud

Ok.. the '89 clipons.. hard to come by in the US... You can see about getting em from Europe though, as evidently, all their years come with clipons, not just the '89. We got gypped there. IF you can find the '89 clipons, I think they're still fairly expensive.

The SM2s should be fairly straightforward. I remember reading about rotating the front master cylinder some, but I don't remember if it was the SM2s or the clubmans, or some other bars. Do a search for SM + install... that should take care of any questions, I know there's several writeups on it.

Seriously though.. if you can wait, wait for the Srinath bars! I am! I've put about 1400 miles on my bike... and I'm waiting on the new bars and the new exhaust.. believe me, they'll be worth waiting a few weeks. And if he releases em, and you see em, and hate em.. then you order your SM2s. You've got nothing to lose but a few weeks of riding with stock bars, and there's substantial gain to be had (I.e., better bars at a lower price)

If he follows his past form, he'll take orders. Once he reaches a certain number (since his welder will require a minimum batch), he'll make them. That number will probably be around 20, since that's what I recall from the last time. I'm sure there are MORE than 20 people here who want his bars.

Uhh... no pics of the new ones yet, cuz he hasn't built a prototype. At least, I don't think so. But his avatar is of his old style bars. And I'd bet you could just PM him and ask for a pic of his old bars. Might take him awhile to get back to you, cuz he's super busy... but he'd do it eventually, I'm sure.

Well....let's just say he went back to the drawing board on those. I was one of his first customers in '03 when he made them...

I bought mine off of someone for 90. Good luck finding them. They are one of the most sought out item right now next to tanks and fork springs...    O0

the install of the sm2's is straightforward (at least on the naked bikes)-only issue is the brake resevoir, has to be turned and will end up almost if not actually touching the guages. look at my site-I have a page devoted to my install. Easy enough that I installed them at my office during lunch...

If you're lucky enough to find them on eBay they usually go for around $90.
