how wide is a 150 tire in inches? 150mm = ?
10 mm in a cm and 2.5 cms in an inch? = 3inches that is way wrong and i feel stupid now. the only reason why i am going to leave this stupidity shown is because i want the children of the future to learn from my mistakes. :icon_mrgreen:

One inch equals 25.4 mm. So 150/25.4 = 5.9"

this is all interesting, but isn't the width of tires expressed as a fraction of the wall height? i.e., a 60-150 is narrower than a 70-150. at least, that's how I always thought it went :dunno_white:
wall height is factor of width. a 150/60 is 150mm wide, and 60% of 150mm tall.
However, keep in mind that a 150 series tire will vary greatly between manufacturers. So a michelin 150/60 wont necessarily be the same width as a Bridgestone 150/60, etc. They could vary as much as 5-10 mm from one to the next. Also, what width rim you mount it on will affect the final width.
