Good luck
thats a stock rim and a stock tyre
I have a 140/70 on mine & there's plenty of clearance. I'd take a pic but it's too cold, wet & dark outside (yeah I know I'm a woose)
you leave you bike in the cold and wet...
Nah it's in the back shed, but I have to go outside to get to it.
oh ok well thats ok then
so i need to mod to put a 140 on like a can see how its going to fit with out it
thats my little finger by the way (mental note cut finger nails b4 job interview tomorrow)

A 140/70 is designed for a 4" rim so it is squeezed down about 5 mm on a 3.5" rim and is only 5 mm wider than a 130. That's about .2" total or about .1" on each side wider. Plenty of room w/o mods. I have a 150/70 Lasertec on std 3.5" rim that fits with just enough clearance. It's about same width as a 140/80 that's made for a 3.5" rim. Some 150's are a bit wider and touch the brake rod.
I ve got a 140/80/17 on mine with the stock rim and havent had any trouble with it/ not much clearance but it works
dependant on rim, spacers, and abit of determination, you can fit upto 160 into a GSswing arm. 170 you need to start thinking about GSXR swingarm/rim combo
