Title: Where is the IDLE Screw?
Post by: trend on July 25, 2006, 04:15:13 PM
Ok, my HANS manual is at my old house.. and I am not going way over there for a wile. And google isn't showing me a picture of what I am looking for :/

I gather it is on the carb.. but have no clue after that.

Where is it on my gs500 y2k bike?

thanks!

Sitting on the bike, reach down below your right leg and under stuff.  It's the big screw.  At least, that's how I find it.  :icon_mrgreen:
You could just use this image, though, I guess:

Ok, here goes.  A user named Trend was having a hard time locating his idle screw, so he posted a thread asking about it.  I replied with the location, and within minutes, Trend had adjusted his idle and reported back about his success.  I was surprised at the quickness of his reply, and remarked about it.  Then you asked me to tell you about it, so I did.
