Or went to a track that is predominately left hand turns. It can happen.

I bet they did a burnout spinning the rear to one side. Either that, or the person who installed the tire put it in WAAYYY Crooked (kinda sarcastic and unlikely)

so you have a drinking problem and dont know how to read.

Thats milwaukess best, not Old Milwaukee.

And when your poor and live in milwaukee, the beast is great. After a couple of jack and cokes, start drinking the cheap beer, cause you cant tell the difference

We used to do that with Strohs 30 packs back in college.

I don't even think Strohs is around anymore...  :dunno_white:

It's still around.  Brewed by the same people who bought Pabst, though I don't remember who it is offhand, and I"m too lazy to google.

if it were only on one side or another I'd guess trackday. Mine look like that because of the four tracks close to me, two have high speed sweeping rights (I mean 100-145mph high speed sweepers!). I have replaced sets of tires several times that were bald on the right side but looked BRAND NEW in the center (trackday use only, no street miles) and mostly new on the left.

However, the center wouldnt be like that unless a) all he did was rolling sideways burnouts in a circle (is that possible to the extent it would do that though?) or b) a combination of track use for the side wear and burnouts for the center. I know guys that since they;re replacing the tire they'll go out and do burnouts to use up the center, just for fun.

I can't believe it, you live in Milwaukee, you should no better not to drink that rejected Miller light crap.  :cookoo:

If I was still in "Brew City" I'd be hitting Discount Liquor up for some (http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/2094/pubaleow5.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) or some (http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/7224/bottriverwestfullvz7.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) or maybe some (http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/5861/lbelgiancd2.gif) (http://imageshack.us)

Now I'm really missing my favorite brews, and my Christmas trip home is a long time away.

My vote for the tire wear is on drifting.

Are burnouts bad for the bike?  Would you avoid buying a bike in this condition???

a sure sign of abuse if its been through numerous burnouts. bad for the bike? dunno, except for the idea of the engine at high rpm without air cooling it. I'd be more concerned about all the other abusive riding that goes along with that kind or burning out-wheelies, stoppies, etc. You just never know.

:dunno_white: Maybe someone nailed his left foot to the road (...a la that Monty Python sketch...)

But seriously, It's a sure sign of abuse.  No commercially available tire I've seen would wear that significantly on one side.  It takes a repeated deliberate act to cause that kind of wear.

There's a lot of stress on the engine & tranny before and after the tire breaks away from the pavement.  I bet the motor was reving way up without velocity and if air cooled, that motor may have overcooked itself.

I'd walk away from someone who treated a bike that way.
