I'm ordering my race-tech straight rate springs tonight.
I'm going to put in 15w fork oil with them.
Race-Tech charges $25. for 1qt of their fork oil.
Seems a little steep, but might be worth it.
opinions?

Depends on the brand you buy too. I got Silkolene, which is big money stuff, apparently.
erl is erl
as long as you change it regularly
heck KAW ex 500 came stock with ATF in the forks
It may wear less on the internals... Retrospect.. Price of mosto synthetic fork oils are expensive if it costs you more than your local shop don't get it. It does make a difference if your putting in the Gold Valves.... Cus then your fork has rebound damping.
For 500ml's of Castrol SAE10 oil,
mine cost me $10 Australian ($7.50 US)
