Bit me in the hand, now it's huge and my glove barely fits. Fecking mosquito. It hurts when I ride... feck.
what kind of freakish mutant mosquitos do you have where you live
No kidding that must be some bite to make your hand swell up so bad your glove won't fit
Allergic, maybe?? ???
Or maybe radioactive materials affected the bug...
Now you'll be able to suck people's blood through a needle-like appendage (sp?)
Haha... I make a fist with my right hand, 4 knuckles. I make a fist with my left hand - two knuckles. It looks fat! :icon_lol:
damned canadians got it all. good alcohol, relaxed pot laws, (not that i would know ;) ), cuban cigars, and mosquitos from hell
Hydrocortisone = A hormone obtained from natural sources or produced synthetically and used to treat inflammatory conditions and adrenal failure.
I always keep some Hydrocortisone cream close by, you don't even want to know about all the nasty little critters that bite here in Florida. :thumb:
I've been using 0.5% hydrocortisone topical cream on it. It does stop the itching somewhat, but I think antihistamine would be more effective in reducing the swelling; however, I'd caution against it... It's gone down a bit... still phat though... :icon_rolleyes:
The anti-histamine will reduce the swelling and stop the itching. Don't need to use the hydrocortisone too. Plus the hydrocortisone can cause a little skin rash so i'd stick with the anti-histamine. Benadryl works great but will knock you out. Allegra or claritin would work too.

shameless threadjack. Dr. Love, what kind of trials bike are you riding in that picture. I've been dying to try out a Gas Gas. Trials riding has always intrigued me.

DROOOL. That bike is sweet.
I've never actually ridden a trials bike, but to me it looks more fun than just a dirt bike.
