Two weeks or 3 weeks now I got my wife the GSXR 600. Now she keeps bugging me to trade in the GS and buy the 750. When we go riding in the mts we pass the suzuki dealer and we stoped in to get her a tank bag for the gsxr. And low and behold without asking me she's talking to the sales guy who we bought her bike from asking when will they be getting in more 750's, whats the trade in value on the 500
*sigh* women. What can you do?
Dude you are so lucky to have a wife that wants you to get a larger bike

what can you do? you can take her aside and make sweet love to her while the salesman writes up the order and gets your 750 ready...thats what you can do.

on the chosen bike :icon_mrgreen:
Very very very easy solution to this. Tell her you will ride the 750 if she will pay the chargers ontop of the trade in value of the 500. And the cost of upkeep out of her own pocket if she wants you to ride the 750 so much :icon_twisted: So either she will give up, or you get a sweet 750 for the trade in value of your 500.

This would work beautifully with a GF, but once you are married, your money is HER money and her money is HER money. Still, having your wife hound you to get a ride like that is a beeeautiful thing.
Well of course she drives you nuts, it's what they do, their function in life, raison d'etre etc, what do you expect. It could be a lot lot worse matey, thank whatever god you subscibe to that she is not yearning for that spare room to be decorated!

But what about the poor lonely man in the corner???? HE NEEDS SOME COMPANY!!!
[me sitting in corner...]
I say :P
Tell her when she doesn't get lost trying to follow me through the twisties then she can Buddha Loves You about the 500.
Not meant as an offense to women either, I'm this arrogant to either sex. :icon_mrgreen: (Hell you could be from the planet sportbike-topia and be able to hand Valentino Rossi's butt to him and I'd still think I could take ya, on a bike of half the power even.)
Maybe it's a weird psychological thing? Wants her man to be more powerful? I dunno. Some peeps have weird complexes.
Drag the pegs through the corners. Trade them in for fireblade pegs. (Easy swap for more clearance.) Get Mak's highmount. Remove your centerstand. Go wider with the wheels and tires. Braided steel brake lines. Straight rate racetechs. RGV250 rear shock. Oh yeah and a lunchbox filter. And GSXR 1100 cams chopped in half.
Hell WITH the centerstand I've passed CBR600RR's on the inside. And yes, Scott was trying. (Yes he still hates me.)
Maybe she wants him to have bigger equipment.
:flipoff:
j/k

She decorated Ethans ( our son's ) room. All I had to do was say " Yes that looks nice"
:o Pandy I didn't know you played on both sides.
Sent some emails out today to 2 dealers tring to get a price OTD on a GSXR 750. The deal my wife and I came up with is IF I decide to get the bike, she's going to make the payments on it :icon_mrgreen: . But I have to trade in the GS . The thing is I would love to have the GSXR but I want to keep the GS also, not being greedy but it's my first bike I bought new and would like to keep it. I still have my 1st car I ever bought new :thumb:.
Will see what kind of prices I get and decide on that I guess :dunno_white:. OH did anyone hear that there is supposed to be a red / white GSXR color comming out next year?
Duuuude ... its all your fault ... for getting her bigger than yours ... You're supposed to get the 750 and give her the GS, You do know that women say ... size doesn;t matter right ... yea right ...
Cool.
Srinath.
and u know what men say ... the bigger the better.

It's not the size of the boat, Matt, it's the motion of the ocean.
Some day you'll figure it out. Yer still young. :icon_mrgreen:

I would start by giving her a nice long round of oral. Then explain to her how much cooler a Triumph Dayton 675 in graphite would be.
Of all the things to Buddha Loves You about... :cookoo:
Me: "I think we need a bigger cruiser so riding two up will be easier and better."
Her: "Maybe..."
Me: "Maybe? What do you mean? Wouldn't you like to have something more comfortable with a little more power for hills and whatnot."
Her: "Yeah, I guess."
Me: "But, the GS isn't really that great for longer trips and riding 2up."
Her: "..."
Me: " :icon_confused: "
Her: "We'll see..."
Me: " "
Her: "Where would you keep it anyway? Are you getting rid of the GS?"
Me: " :o NO!"
Her: "There's nowhere to keep it... Maybe if we had a garage."
Me: " But! But... YOU wanted this condo! ... I mean... But... I like it... And... With the... Uh... "
Her: "... :nono: ..."
Me: " Maybe next year?"
Her: "... Maybe."
DAMNIT!
So a pirate walks into a bar with a steering wheel sticking out of his pants.
The bartender asks, "So where did the steering wheel come from?"
to which the pirate responds, "I don't know matey, but it's driving me nuts!"

I was talking to Jon my nephew and told him whats going on. He told me to see if I could get a better deal for 2 750's :o
Told my UPS driver from work that Jon and I were getting 750's and he asked me to see what kind of trade in he could get on his Kat and that he would go with us and get a 750 also. :o :o
This is getting out of hand. I wonder if there's a group buy discount
Me= blue / white
Jon= yellow / black
UPS= Burgundy / black
Will post pic's after we get the bikes this weekend
I know Jon and I are 100% atm but not sure about the UPS guy he wants one just not sure if he's going to follow through.

How Did I miss this ...
Anyway - if she screams out the name of the sales man in the throes of ...y'know ... then you know you're in trouble.
Cool.
