Well...
I had my left lung partially collapse saturday morning with a 'pneumothorax'. I won't be able to ride for the next 2-3 weeks and I'm really bummed. I can't do any heavy lifting or anything that might cause stressed breathing.
My GS will just sit there... all alone....
Stupid lung... and I don't even smoke or anything. At least they didn't need to operate on me to fix it because it was small enough that it should resolve itself over the next week or so.
Damn I'm glad your ok. make sure you dont' stress yourself. . .. guess sex is out of the question too :icon_mrgreen:
Sadly I think you're right...
dude, that sounds horrible. Rest up and feel better ASAP. A few weeks will fly by before you know it :thumb:
hope u get better soon so u can ride and have sex again cause its hard to do without either.
have the girlfriend/ wife wash the bike while you sip a tall cool limonade?
Not a bad idea... I'll have her dress in the leather boots and stuff too...
:flipoff: suckas
OK...
We're gonna need pictures! That's an order!
When I crashed in April of '05 and collapsed my lung that is exactly what happened to me. The pneumothorax thing means some air got in between your lung and your chest cavity, preventing the lung from expanding into that area. Mine worsened overnight, from 5% collapse to a 33% collapse. They had to cut a hole in my chest and suck the extra air out so my lung would reinflate. I had to do breathing excercises and stuff.
I feel for ya man. I wasn't allowed to pick up anything over 10lbs for 6 weeks at least.

So sorry to hear about your lung. :( Hope you heal up fast....
In the mean time, where are ya'...one of us GSTwinnerz will be right over to take your bike out...we wouldn't want her to sit for long periods of time...... you're welcome.... :icon_mrgreen:
Pandy is right... Your GS does have to be walked at least twice a day... Please don't make us call the Motorcycle Abuse Center.
savannah, ga ;)
Yea I had a pneumothorax of 1% restriction. So it should get better on it own I hope. The doc said it was the smallest he'd ever seen.

What did you do to collapse it, or did you just breathe too hard and collapse it on your own?
