Title: Clutch problem??
Post by: serbianstunna on August 01, 2006, 10:55:50 PM
Tonight after work,  i walked my bike into my garage, and in first gear with the clutch all the way in, the bike was harder to roll than when i put it in neutral.  Is this a clutch problem I could adjust without replacing the clutch, or is this even a clutch problem?  Any help is much appreciated!  THANKS!!!

That's normal. A wet clutch always drags a bit. Definitely more than the resistance of the freewheeling gearshaft in neutral.

Yup not a problem, you will notice however that once the bike is warmed up that this behavior is not a noticeable.  Again caused by the bike having a wet clutch.
