Title: Godspeed little GS500...Godspeed...
Post by: Turd Ferguson on August 02, 2006, 04:06:36 PM
This is the radar from about 15 minutes ago.  My town name is "Manhattan" and is the one you can't read because of the FATASS STORM.

They said to expect 70mph winds and quarter sized hail.  My GS is parked outside...good luck little GS.

Yeah Chicago is starting to get hit by the same type of shaZam!. At least its cooling down a bit, from over 100 to around 80.

Texas occasionally gets hail. While I was living in the dorms I had to park my bike outside and whenever there were threats of heavy winds or hail I devised ways of getting my bike into my dorm room if need be. I lived on the 7th floor furing second semester, but calculated it out that if I worked the bike in just right, it'd fit into the elevators.

Then I just moved it to a covered parking garage.

Actually yes. We got a good room though, so we had movable furniture and a private bathroom and a walk in closet. It wasn't that bad.

First semester I lived with a gangsta Mexican frat boy in Moore-Hill. I hated it there.

It's never a good thing when Jim Cantore (Weather Channel) starts talking about your town.  I remember this image shown immediately after he talked about the Cold Front coming through Michigan.

Favour parking on the east and north side of sturdy structures. Turd.   :)
