hey all,
I went for a ride today my usual spot, & I decided to bring my digicam! :icon_mrgreen:
I wont say where exactly it is out of respect for the other riders that go there, but it's on the South Shore, MA, about 20 minutes from my house :thumb:
Here are a bunch of shots I took today; It's more twisties than scenic, but you get the idea- it's a crazy-technical road!
so who says there's nowhere good to ride on the South Shore?
So here is where I go every weekend. Where do you go?? 8)

No hotlinking to putfile. We don't all go to putfile.com to ride, that's for damn sure!
Try imageshack or photobucket, both free, allow you to crop, resize, rotate, etc, and pretty reliable.
I was going to say...nice pics l3, but a pain in the @$$ to look at them one by one. :cookoo:
putfile = suX0rZ
Use photobucket
that looks like photobucket to me....
you guys are :cookoo:
:flipoff:
Nice save.
Wow... Looks like a nice road.
Except it looks like you'd have to go pretty slow to avoid all the cowboys on the wrong side of turns.

This is a crap picture of the road. But it is only my second favorite place to ride anyway. 5 Highway is my favorite, but this is the last straight on the "Alphabet Roads" (210 to EE to H to JJ).
I'll post better pics after the weekend. :thumb:

Skyline Drive in Virginia. Find a way to beat the traffic on the northern end and it is heaven. :thumb:

Oh. Check out the floss.
You ridin' an R1 now?
BRAG-GER!
ha. NO, that's my old 2001 R6. The pic is from a trip about two years ago. We rode half of the parkway and camped on the Appalachian Trail before riding back. Best ride of my life to date.
wow some beautiful scenery!
keep em comin! :)
There are a couple pics of this weekend ride at one of my favorite spots. Destro and I got out and rode. He'll have to post pictures of him (there is one that I managed to take out of 4 attempts).

Here's where my dad, wife and I ended up riding to 2 weekends ago. Usually more water but it hasn't been raining here.

BUUUUMMMMMP
I used to think that some local roads (1431 and Park Road 4) were my favorite places to ride.
I was wrong. My new favorite place:

Wow, there are some really nice places in this thread... One of my personal favorites is Cape Forchu, a 30 minute ride from where I live and some of the most twisty roads around. Here are a few pics of the area.

Mission Rd? If so, that is one of my favorites too, though I enjoy it for road bicycling. Amazing stretch of road, absolutely gorgeous.
-Turd.
so THAT"S what my bike would look like in Canada (with a good washing).
LOOKS GREAT! :thumb:
