Slight wave in the curve? If so, probably centerstand. (It swings down when there is additional acceleration.)

Yes.

Toes of your boots?
Centerstand?
Pipe?
Sidestand?

Which side was the scraping?

Probably your pipe.

Yah man, back off if you start scraping hard parts. Seriously. You are lucky you didn't lose it if it was your pipe.

I ued to think so but I just had to take out the rear blot (the one that holds the can on) and push down and remove the bolt.

Check the footpegs again. They have a rubber flap on them that folds back, then the core scrapes. When the rubber folds back the traces are hidden.

But you shold have felt the pegs scraping.

yes they can, but not cold. i must stress this. the rim and tire need to be at least 120-130* to get them sticky (about a good half hour or twistys, slowy getting over more and more.

hell you can drag pegs all day, but the front will not last. i will get some final shot of my front this week, i have more center tread than side tread.  i may keep it and hang it up on my wall at home.

yea i am about 6 foot 2 if i stand up right, and weight 235 so... big factors

this winter i am adding a gix 750 to the line up of bikes

See that helps you alot ranger. You got alot of mass to plant that bike an that corner. Weight does help a bit.  :thumb:

I'm 180. The mass isn't the issue. It's whether or not you want to lean and risk the possible consequences.

On 110 front and 130 rear I use that little space CBR riders leave between themselves and the guardrail as the "GS500 lane"

120lbs soaking wet, so +1 to CirclesCenter...you can get the stock tires over pretty far.

I am just guessing but if no parts are scratched have you checked the chain tension. Maybe it too tight.
