Title: Wikipedia entry...
Post by: roguegeek on August 06, 2006, 01:02:06 AM
Don't know how many of you guys use Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.com) or not, but I've been working on organizing the GS500 article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_GS500) for a while now. It was originally separated into 3 different articles, but I've compiled and arranged it to the best of my ability. Pointers from "Suzuki GS500E", "GS500E", "Suzuki GS500F", and "GS500F" all point to this article so we're well covered. I'm sure there's a fair amount of info that could be added so please check it out and edit as needed. If you've never edited a Wikipedia article before, please go through their introduction (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Introduction) and adhere to the rule Wikipedia has created for editors and what not. Keep in mind if the content is not encyclopedic, it should not be added. Also keep in mind that editors don't always agree on what should and shouldn't go into an article which is why the discussions section should be use to avoid edit wars. :)

Also created a future motorcycle template (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Future_motorcycle) and upcoming motorcycles category (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Upcoming_motorcycles) to be used in any article. Obviously, I've also been editing the CBR600RR article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CBR600RR).

Happy editing! :thumb:

Exactly my point of everyone getting on there and fixing it. Keep in mind I didn't write a lot of that. If fact, I wrote very little. I just combined scattered articles to make one comprehensive article. If anyone sees anything that needs to be fixed, fix it. :thumb:
