I've seen a few of you cruising around.
One in the Hingham area.
One down in some twisties in Carver riding two-up.
anyone on this site?
Hingham dude- you almost looped that wheelie you psycho! :thumb:
anyone else around the South Shore?
from quincy here, when did you see the 2up in carver? I dunt really remember where I ride anymore or when. I just go where the roads go. Carver sounds like a place I went to before though.
It was on the carver/plymouth line....
I forget what road exactly, but just south of myles standish state forest & it runs all the way into wareham center.
We're pretty close; I'm just down in Marshfield.
It'd be great to meet up & ride sometime. I'm usually down in the Plymough/carver area, but I like riding up in & around Blue Hills as well, which is pretty close to you.
lemme know! :thumb:
I was in the myles state res area a couple of weeks ago, but I wasnt riding two up.
I go down to blue hills almost everyday after work hehe to make a couple of rounds, but yea we should def meet up sometime. I havent ridden with anyone be4 and i dont want to ride aroudn with liter bikes that like to fly down the highways. Just some peg scraping twisties :icon_mrgreen:
I really like Blue Hills a lot & I used head up there pretty frequently; but it got a little bit disturbing with the State Trooper barracks nearby & seeing deer. On one ride I was going through at about 55-60mph & see a State trooper coming around the bend ahead of me. I get on the brakes pretty quick & he keeps going . I let out a pretty big sigh, but just as I go around the same bend TWO DEER are standing in the middle of the road :o
I'll def take you through Myles Standish & through Carver sometime. That place will blow your mind it's so tight & technical. Weekends during the summer are a bit crowded b/c of the campgrounds & swimming, but I've been a few weekdays during the evening & it's been almost dead-quiet. It doesnt get NEARLY the same amount of commuter traffic that Blue Hills does.
& there's one stretch that I go through Carver that feels a lot more open and faster like Blue Hills but is a longer ride.
I'll PM you next time before I plan to go. :thumb:
yea, i enjoy blue hills except its kind of small and when I usually go its packed with cagers. I definitely want to check out myles, last time i went there was a lot of thunderstorms movin thru the area so i coudlnt stay long n i had to hightail it back home to beat the rain.
