do you plan on putting the decals back onto the fairings? to me it just doesn't look right with the tank having them. is there anyway you can take the decals off the tank? just a suggestion, its your bike, as long as you like it.
I was thinking about putting decals back on but the only place I know where to find them is the dealer and I dont know the price. As for taking them off the tank, I dont know if you can and if they will come off cleanly. I am kinda thinking about getting a suzuki decal and putting them on there and trying to make them follow the strip on the tank. Anyone have any suggestions?
Most online retailers ie www.bikebandit.com or www.suzukiparts.com or www.oneidasuzuki.com will have the decals for sale. If you want them back on the bike. Tank decals should come off just need a hair dryer or better would be a heat gun. Heat up the decal and remove them. Then use alchole to remove the resdue off the tank.
Or if you want to go crazy look at www.tapeworks.com and see if they have a decale kit that you like.
??? The decals on my tank are under the clearcoat... Did they stop doing that?

looks like $30 for the stripe. well worth it in my opinion,
whats that tail made out of?
Those prices look good to me..I think I might go that route...the tail is made of fiberglass and then bondo...

No, you're correct. The decals on the tank are still under the clearcoat. There would be no way to take them off unless you buffed/sanded them out.
I never really looked to see if they were under the clear coat or not. Sorry about that.
seaheifer, where did you get the seat cowel, it looks neat ...
looks great!

He made it, i have thought about making one for my bike using fiber glass but I don't have the time right now to fiddle with it and nowhere for it to set up without stinking my apt up.
