Hey i just found a pocket bike corse down the street and i was wondering if any one here has any recent experience with them. if so is their any brands u can recomend??? I think this might be my new hobbie, since my bike is my everyday form of transport
What happened to drag racing? Gonna drag race pocket bikes now?
Nick, pocket bikes get a bad wrap. Good to see you back BTW.
Brands? I didn't even know more than one maker made these little beasts.

im doing both. its just that the drag strip is 2 hours away, versus 3 blocks to get to a pocket bike corse. and i usually work on drag nites so id only be able to go during vacations, or days off from school or work.
hey that video is just plain stupid, they could have easily goten a 2200 dollar ticket.
Eerm... stay away from the 100 dollar pocket bikes on ebay (known as Cagliaris), they work, but not well... and require some work on the engine and components before they starting them up, specifically the handlebars as they strip quickly meaning you'll probably have to replace them or weld them on. Otherwise you'll take an unwelcome face dive... Here are a few pics of my orange one, I call it a GS 50F ... 100 bucks Canadian on Ebay (Shipped!) :)

There just like scooters and fat chicks, there a lot of fun to ride, but just don't let anyone you know see you on one.
Blata and Polini
are the original pocket bikes that are worth a damn
the used to be 1500-2k
until the cheap chinese copies came out...dang near killed their sales
the good ones do about 70
the cheapo ones....35-40
the good ones have parts availabity

Valentino Rossi got his start in minimoto racing. Something to think about.
