Title: Gas doesn't leak when bike off and on PRI...what does this mean?
Post by: tussey on August 09, 2006, 07:37:14 AM
Most people complain about a puddle of gas when they leave it on PRI over night. I get no such puddle...does this mean my floats are waaaaaaaaay off?

I left my bike on PRI a couple of times when parked in the garage overnight...  :o I always felt lucky to not find the puddle, and vowed never to forget again (then I'd forget the vow never to forget again). But I tried hard to remember, because I didn't want to run out of luck....  :cookoo:

My bike is always in prime.  It never leaks.  I know I just jinxed myself.

i wouldn't leave it in prime all the time.  I would turn it to on when parked, and prime when running (assuming that you do that for a reason, possible fuel starvation) that will prevent anything from happening in the first place.  Just my .02 though.
