Looking for any GS'ers that would like to meet up sometime.
I've never been there, but I can tell you for sure that there are thousands of people that live in Minneapolis. Maybe even dozens of thousands. There just has to be. I'm also told that the people that live there are accustomed to the cold, so they might be there year 'round.
Sorry. I'm mailing it in today. . . and I'll be quite now.
(Raises hand)
I've got a thread (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=23842.0) going on and off in the Meet and greet section. I've met 3 gstwinners from the area and I think there's a couple more. I may be going for a ride tomorrow morning, so let me know if your interested
Hey Squirrel,
Welcome!
There are a few of us, Manofthefield, RyGuy, Rema1000 and myself that all live in or around the Twin Cities.
If you ever need some help on your bike let us know...
Aaron

Hey manofthefield,
Thanks for writing! I am temporarily without Internet access at home so I didn't get the message until now. I hope the ride went well. It would be a lot of fun to ride with some fellow gstwinners.

Thanks Aaron, I sure appreciate the offer. I did manage to get my bike up on the centerstand this weekend and get the chain cleaned and lubed, dang was it crusty!! Got some oil in too, it was pretty low. Same here, if you ever need an extra hand wrenching on your bike let me know. I'm a novice but very willing to learn and hand tools to you.

I move to Canada, and GS riding women appear in my old homeland.

If you REALLY want to post one, PM me and I'll send you my email, and I can host it for you. Given the high levels of teenage testosterone around here, you may be better off not posting. Just sayin.
but you could still email it to me

Actually, after I wrote that I HAD to go figure out how to do it. So now I have my pic posted. Wish I had one of my bike, but I don't have the film developed yet. I just have a pic of my bike still in the shop with the tag on it. Kinda lame.
Grainbelt, are there no women there in saschatwan(sp?) :dunno_white:
ahhh only on GSTwin do all female posters get so much love from the forum.
I should sign up and pretend I am a girl, then the carb-sync day would happen for sure!

Hey, just pick a date and it will happen (just not any of the 3 weekends in the next month or so that I have to go to weddings)

There are some ladies here - they even like hockey and beer, its tremendous :kiss3:. Just stirring the pot a little bit for ya :icon_mrgreen:
And its Saskatchewan. :flipoff:
Minneapolis has its share of GSes (is Klimber still here?). I think the bike fits the town: it's fun for short trips to Sebastian Joe's or rides on the parkways; it makes a trip down the East River Road fun; and fast enough to hold its own on the freeway. If you're going to hit the highways, then you probably are just buzzing around the metro, or else getting out to have fun down the river valley, or on the shady, twisty Wisconsin back roads. Other bikes may be better for cruising eight hours on the highway, but I don't find much of a reason to head out that far on a bike anyways.

That reminds me, it's getting cool enough this past week that I'm going to have to re-sync again for fall (world's pickiest carbs). My GS seems to be complaining that it's not 88F anymore. Spoiled brat. Personally, this is the weather that I live for.

September and October in Minnesota are beautiful. Riding around the lakes as the leaves change is about as serene as it gets. Damn I miss that town.
