hint: the round things...
Marescheni, eh? Oh Pablo.
Why not PVM, hm?
See, that's hot.
Or if you still want the 10 spokes, why not 10-Ys?
Or a forged magnesium 5-spoker?
Or closer to stock, but blinged with the gold annodizing?
:)
I actually originally wanted the close to stock looking 5 spoke inblack, like the last image. But magnesium isnt well suited for street riding (potholes, etc) and the PVM's are $300 more, are german and dont look as nice in the 5Y spoke as the marchi's do. personally dont like the 10 spoke pvm's either...

The 10Ys are a bit busy for my tastes as well.
To each their own on the 5 Y-spokes, though. I like how the PVMs have the initial spoke going out longer and then splitting into the Y. Longer spoke, shorter Y.
Marchesini 5-Ys for those who can't see well :)

i guess it's OFFICIAL..... SQUID!!!!!!
purdy, dem wheels cost more than most GS's.....
you need some red rim tape now to finish them off!
Nice looking wheels, the bike looks really clean now.
 Nice birthday present! :thumb:
Them mighty purdy!
ouch. put 365 miles on them today...can you say sore wrists and shoulders...
If you don't like 'em, I'll take the CBR off your hands for ya :thumb:
Yeah...we want those wrists and shoulders to stay in good shape, so let us come take over for you while you rest! :flipoff: :icon_mrgreen:

I couldnt agree more on the 10 spoke. I also agree on the overall design of the pvm 5 spoke. I was drawn to them first for the same reasons but after really scrutinizing them I prefer the detailing of the marchesinis's. I also prefer the more tested and better distributed marchi's in case there are problems.
dont you all get excited...ouch from riding a sportbike 365 hard canyon miles, many of them stressful miles, not from the wheels or the bike per se. Bike isnt going anywhere.
werase643-yeah, in real dollars I got them for $1645 installed (old tires-only couple hundred miles on them), but in actuality they are a deposit for a kitchen remodel I am doing, helping a neighbor out. I've been lusting after wheels for at least the last year and a half and have been waiting for the right set of circumstances to present themselves. They did now so I splurged, even though I know they wont make me faster (its in my head), but will only serve to make an excuse for others as to why I am faster than them....LOL...hell, they're beautiful so I dont care.
Hey Pablo, sometimes everyone needs a little bling. Those with more money can afford the fancier stuff like nice rims.
And if you thought those 10-Y PVMs were busy...
How about the 20 spoke?

oh jeez...
Jebus Pablo, those look awesome! :thumb:
Right after my "freakin' sweet" thought, the very next thought that entered my head was "oh how annoying that's going to be to get into the Bike Brace. I hate it when I back in my rear wheel into it just to find out the bar can't go through because it's hitting a spoke. Now there's going to be more of a chance a spoke will be in the way. No? :dunno_white:
That's hot.
What are you going to do with your old hoops? Keep them?
I wonder how they would look on a Super Hawk.
BTW, if I win the lottery, I'm putting some 20 spokes on the SH. None of you can stop me.
<O face>

I hated that too, but it was only an inconvenience, nothing terrible. I simple lifted the bike on its sidestand and used my toe to turn the rear wheel a bit.

they look good rolling too, better than I expected:
