Was enjoying a great day riding down to the Florida Everglades and back home today. I was at a long red light and happened to look down at the fork seals and saw...oil. :o OK, the friggen bike only has 4200 miles on it ( '05 purchased 11 months ago). Way too soon, huh?
I guess I'll be taking it back to Suzuki this week. It should be under warranty.
Given the problems we've seen lately with the new GS's, has anyone else got a leaking fork seal on an '05 or '06?
my seals didnt even last a thousand, my bad though, i didnt seat them properly. its easily done, take it back and get them to change them,

Same thing for me last week, 05' puch. Nov. , I'm at 6700 miles. Its covered by Warranty, so I actually took it to the dealer(only because I know the mechanic well) since they had the seal in stock, and I had my bike back by the end of the day, SWEET. I try to clean all the bugs off the forks every time I ride, and I think it was leaking a little to soon as well, but these thing can happen, thankfully I did not have to sweat my butt off this time to fix.
wow... you know, I looked down the other day and had alittle oil up top too... I was thinking eh, whatever... but now you guys are making me want to take it by the dealer.
