Title: So I'm gloating, so would you.
Post by: Codger on August 13, 2006, 03:13:51 PM
I'm sharing this since no one else that I know truly comprehends the joy of the situation.

I do subcontract work for a guy and we have an excellent working relationship.
I don't nitpick on billing and he let's me have the choice of working on the job site or webbing it.
I bring in new customers for him and he allows me a certain lattitude of my travel routing.

There is a job in the Netherlands the first week of November, which of course I must do on site.
I noticed that if I fly open jaws, I can go over via Valencia Spain, run across France and depart AMS after the job.

How convenient that I can make it to Valencia in time for the last race of the MotoGP season.
This is the last race of the 990cc bikes, next year is 800s.
To have the race in Spain with a Spaniard in currently in top 3 and in contention for the championship of all 3 classes.  Should be FKG insane.

Oh yeah, life is good.

Maybe with your "latitude" in travel you can arrange to commute around Europe on a rent-a-bike tour.

I was in Montreal this weekend and saw hundreds of bikes.  Made me wish for my GS, even though I couldn't keep up with most of the bikes I saw!

Thanks scratch.

TG, I guess that is the next boondoggle that I have to work out.  Surely I could justify that based on fuel prices.

Pablo, the words of Mel Brooks were never so well stated.
