Title: Fuel mileage
Post by: Leon78 on August 14, 2006, 10:58:46 AM
I average about 58mpg on my stock bike. What is the fule milage after K&N,  Vance & Hines exhaust, Dynojet jet kit, and ignition advancer.

You prolly lose 10% if you aren;t riding it more agressively.
Cool.

K&N drop in or lunchbox?  Drop in: Probably >55, Lunchbox: Probably >50

Judging by the small increase in jetting that would be required by adding an exhaust, I'd guess it would make minimal difference.  The ignition advancer won't effect it at all.

With my lunchbox and 15t sprocket I get 45-50 mpg riding around like an ass clown (outside of the initial break in, I never got 58 mpg).

Sounds about right...  I average about 52-56 (lots of highway) with 15t + Ass Clown.

But, I get as low as 40 when I'm only riding to work and back.  :icon_confused:

I've been averaging between 45 and 48mpg riding around town (and I ride like a jerk, usually). K&N lunchbox, rejet, and 14T are the main mods that would affect this.
