Title: GSX-R Tail
Post by: Whatever6060 on August 15, 2006, 08:23:05 AM
Hey,

I was looking on Ebay and saw this nice looking GS with a different tail on it.  I asked the selelr and he said he had bought it with the tail like that and her believed it was from a 2002-2003 GSX-R.  Below is the site  (don't know if it will appear as a link):

Has anyone tried something like this?

looks like he took someones advice & lowered the price $2500.

an interesting mod, except the subframe is sticking out from the bottom.

Yeah people have done it.  The best way to do it would be to cut the GS subframe off and weld in the GSX-R subframe.  That guy went the easy route and just put the GSX-R tail on the GS subframe.  Doesn't look very clean to me.
