Title: Snakes on a Muthahuffin 500 Dallas
Post by: plusultra on August 17, 2006, 10:12:52 AM
So I'm sure u have all heard about the ridiculous plotless movie coming up with our beloved Samuel Jackson.  There's a ton of parties just to go and poke fun at the movie, and I am going to the one in dallas, if someonelse wants to ride to the Addison Studio Movie Grill post here.  I know it's going to be crazy fun as it is being hosted by fark.com (flasks, rubber snakes, paper planes, farkers, etc. )  there are many other parties all over the US see http://pootertf.com/Info.html
Should be pretty kewl

I think its superfluous to poke fun at the movie, the producers are doing it themselves. Have you seen any of the ads for it? They clearly aren't taking it seriously at all. I can't wait to see it.

After Samuel L. Jackson agreed to be in the film, the producers tried to change the name. Sammy J then basically said that if the name was changed he wouldn't be in the movie because he was simply in it because the name was so awesome.

It's my opinion that it was made to be the biggest joke/gag/fake serious movie of all time that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, could make fun of.

Someone I know on another forum say it and said that she was surprised that it was actually better than she expected. No huge plot holes or things of that nature. I can't wait to see it....
