Title: Front Forks
Post by: FearedGS500 on August 17, 2006, 10:42:43 PM
ok guys i just wanna see what my opitons are out there . i know some of you have dont the 750 front end swap or put  in the racetech springs . but is there another bike out there with shocks about the same size ( there was 38mm)  i was just wanting to know . i'd rather put upside down shocks on it  but i'd rather buy new shocks on it vs. puting a new head and have to do a mod. ( i'd rather have a plug and play kinda of deal .. sorry for the  way i say that i'm a bit of a computer geek but you would never guess it ! ) thanks !

Alrighty boss.

Here's what i did, i went with the racing reccomendation for the racetechs for my weight.

I love it.

Get some good bar ends to ACTUALLY dampen the vibrations and the front wheel becomes extremely conversive with you.

Nothing is a going to be "plug and play". Some modifications will need to be done, unless you buy a set that has already been installed.

Stock GS forks are 37mm. USD forks will be typically 50mm at the upper clamp.

fyi...shocks are at the rear wheel.
