I was wondering what exhaust mods give me more available lean angle?
Dude, you scrape your exhaust???
-Turd.
Yeah.....
I do it because I go, "If I lost it doing this and got nailed by a truck was it worth it?"
And I answer, "f%$k YEAH IT WAS!" (http://home.tiscalinet.ch/chriskuert/smiley/headbang_2.gif)
I don't know how else to explain it. It's not anything but pure being. A philosophy I guess. Same thing I think every time I get in an Ultralight and do something crazy. (Like go upsidedown under an overpass :icon_mrgreen: )
I'm such a squid

Try hanging off more. For serious. If you're already hanging off and still scraping parts, try slowing down. :) :thumb:
Yeah I hang off, hell I freaking dangle off the side.
Yeah I guess I might want to slow down a bit. :dunno_white:

On the street there needs to be room for error. Lots of error. Even if it isn't your error, you have to deal with lots of things, like idiot cagers, imperfect roadways, curbs, dogs and cats, as well as a ton of other factors.
I keep it off the roads for the most part, my friends at SuperBike Labs have the keys to the local track, so free track days!!!!!
lift the back of the bike up, the sv or gsx shock work wonders,
that extra inch or so height wise gives it an extra 5 to 10 degrees
i would almost have to have the handle bar touching the ground to grind my exhaust, i dare say that my elbow and shoulder would beat the bike to touching the ground :thumb:
plus doing the suspension mod improves the handling no end, by far the best mod out there :thumb:
