Ok so I'm thinking of getting a 150cc scooter for my wife. She wants an automatic so no GS for her. Besides her commute is a straight 15 mile run down a nice two lane highway. In Myerstown, Pa they are selling these little scooters called Checkmates made, of course, in China. And there only $1699. But heck if I can find any information online about these.
I don't have the name of the manufacture just the model.
I'm trying to get into the business of selling these so I'll pass along what I know. Their are TONS of different factorys in China that produce these scooters. Different companys give the factory their specs and the will tweak the design so basically a lot of these imports are the same thing On the down side your going to have a hard time finding someone to service it or finding parts for DIY. A very few places will carry parts most of the time you have to order right from the factory. Best thing to do is figure out what factory it was made at and research the company and see if its worth a damn.
