I'm trying to see if there is any interest in a group ride to Big Bear from... The LA Area... Somewhere....
It will be at a safe and sane pace... on a sunday. Last time a few of us got together and did this... it was absolutely EPIC.
Sounds fun. I live in Redlands, about an hour away from Big Bear. Maybe you could have two scheduled group stops: one in the LA area, and one in the Inland Empire on the way in?
I believe that we actually have some one coming over from the Redlands area???
check out www.socalsportbikes.info there is a group ride section, should have the same title as this thread. I believe his name is Lateot_156. He rides a Ninja 250, and is a nice guy... you might be able to meet up with him...
Or, if you don't wanna ride in one direction, just to head back... you are more than welcome to meet us some where along the way?
Perhaps at the where the 15 and Highway 138 meet? I believe we usually fill up at the Shell station right there.
Ah-ha. Lots of action over there. I'm not up for it this weekend, but sometime real soon...
vroom vroom.

So...?
(i.e. bump)
oh dude, I dunno.... I ended up going to New Mexico for a week or so....
I'll see what I can do for a day off soon.
I just sold my truck so I've got cash and Sundays off (FINAAALLLY!!!!!!!) so I'd be up for a ride.
I'd be coming up from SD, so maybe meet you guys on the 15 somewhere?
yea, for sure you could meet up with us on the 15... but it'd be a fair bit of trucking. it was a good 3 hour ride for me to get from Palmdale to Palomar....
But we'd probably meet at where the 15 and the 138 cross at the shell station right there.
Oh shaZam!, I totally forgot I know where 138 and 15 meet up. Odds are I don't want to ride that far...maybe if I get a new (to me) bike, I'll feel like putting on a quick 500 miles or so.
I'll just have to wait and see.
