I just bought an 06 GS500F. Anyone know of a good source for performance exhaust? I want something louder than stock that performs well, but isn't so loud that I get myself in trouble!! If so, also where is a good place to go.
oh god.
jardine. Ebay. or Jardine's website.
NOW RUN!!!! this is a forbidden question!!!!
PS... there is a search feature for the forum that you may find very usefull.
What Tragic means is, WELCOME! We've talked about exhausts quite a bit, so you've come to the right place! :thumb:
Welcome babypumpkinhead...
What TragicImage should have said:
Welcome! There are a few different after-market Performance Exhausts that can be adapted to fit the GS500. Try using the search feature (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?action=search;advanced) to find some additional details on exhausts.
Jardine makes a "Full System" for the GS500, but other exhausts can be used with Srinath's (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?action=profile;u=119) flange... Check out this thread for some additional details: Flanges and wiley co - available again (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=24471.0). They will need to be welded... There is more info available in various threads throughout this forum.

Umm everyone already replied so I'll just say:
Welcome to the mad house, the Jardine will be a stright bolt on and allows you to keep the center stand. Also if you change your exhaust you will need to reject your bike. Best place for jets is www.sudco.com just give them a call with what type of bike you have and what jets you need.
Hope you enjoy the GS it's a great bike
