Hi guys... perhaps this is unusual.. perhaps not. I was just informed that one of my friends, Chad Fry, wrecked his GSXR600 and did not make it.
I didnt know him that well.. but my best friend did, and i had actually just talked to Chad thursday night about his new bike. Look, you guys know, this isnt just about riding bikes... i dont have to tell you a certain level of respect and unity links all of us to each other more than any car forum would ever dream of. I dont have to lecture you on the value of this unity.
With that said, i would like to request you pray for his friends and family... even though you dont know him. Im a firm believer that this helps drastically. On a side note, my friend had just talked to Chad's girlfriend (whom i know well) an hour before he recieved the news from Chad's sister... And his gf was very happy and normal when she had seen him. So his gf didnt even know until a few hours ago... im sure she is devastated.
I just talked to this guy thursday night... was checking out his bike.. talking about eating up R1's etc... its just too much of a shocker for me guys..
Thanks for your prayers.
God bless.
I'll pray for his family and hopefully Chad had made things right with God.
Do you know what happened?
:( I have just said a few :(
Thank you guys :)
I really appreciate your support. I dont know yet what happened.. but i will keep anyone who's interested informed.
I am thinking its either him going way too fast... or a car involved. I just rode on lunch, and i rode more cautious than ever.
Done.
There have been a couple of local guys that are no longer with us lately. One on his bike in a freak accident as he was just cruising along. Another in his car on the interstate in a multi-vehicle pile-up. I didn't know either of them personally, but I know a lot of their mutual friends. They were truly good people. Both married with small children. All of these people will be greatly missed.
My heart sank when I read your post. I will keep you, Chad, his friends and family in my prayers. I am not religious, but I do believe prayer helps - if that makes sense. People need to know others are thinking of them and supporting them through difficult times.
Everyone be extra careful out there...
 yeah man, you got it. when i was in phoenix, the son of a local harley dealer was involved in a wreck with the back end of a cage. girlfriend went airborne, he was done instantly. im sure your friend felt no pain. please pass along my condolances
That's sad to hear, absolutely. The only consolation i can offer is that hopefully Mr Fry passed while doing something that he loved. Be careful out there people, we owe it to ourselves and to our loved ones.
my thoughts and prayers are with you, your friend, Chad and his family. I'm so sorry to hear of this loss.
My Prayers are for all, Not just the fallen, but those of us whom survive day by day. It is sad to lose a comrad, linked to us in hobby, work, or through others we know. i also realise not everyone is in same religion.
this one is generalized but heart felt just the same
Lord almighty in heaven above us on earth,
Take in to your arms our bothers and sisters whom have departed from us so, Protect them and confort them in the light of thy kindom above, as you guide and protect the ones whom love them below. Whisper unto them that we shall miss them but a short time, but shall join them soon within your loving embrace as a united family.

i have lost a few friends myself in times past. my heart goes out to all friends and family.
May the goddess and her consort recieve you in the light, forever enjoying the bounty of eternal love. Our souls will meet again for we are all part of the circle, past presant and future. My time is yet to be, untill we meet again. be blessed....
i hope i have offended none.....
I was sorry to hear about your friend's loss...there are all too many stories like this that surface from time to time, and they're all equally awful.
We've all chosen a form of recreation/transportation that has obvious risks, yet we've made that choice, regardless. We know, perhaps more than most, how precious life is, to value each day, and be grateful for another. Ride safe folks.
RIP-Prayers go out to the family and loved ones-Ride safe
WOW.. im overwhelmed by everyone's kindness and genuine prayers... Thank you, everyone.
Blueknyt that was awesome buddy.. and i highly doubt you offended anyone. If someone does not believe in organized religion, and they practice not doing that... than it should not offend them to see others practicing what they too, believe in.
I think im gonna print this thread out. Perhaps ill give it to someone close to him. We have a huge power here... the power of UNITY. Thanks guys.
Prayers to Chad's family and girlfriend. I'm sure Chad is in a better place now.
Ride safe.
You got it man...a 2 minute silence and kneeling before God before bed tonight....
Sorry to hear it...
Srinath.
blessed be

So sorry to hear this tragic news. My prayers go out to Chad and his loved ones.
A tear and a prayer out to Chad, his family and his friends.
To all: Ride Safe!
It's so hard to deal when someone goes so early in life. I join everyone tonight and every night for our fallen friends and the wonderful spirits in the people sharing every day with us.
Sorry Man.

UPDATE:
According to the local paper (im there now, since i work here)...
He was speeding... lost control and basically flew under a van. I saw the pic of the bike guys... not pretty. Be careful.. and for gods sake, if you must speed... be EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA careful.... or just DONT speed. :nono:

My regards goes out to his family and to all who lost a friend or family member in a motorcycle accident

So sorry for you, and your friends. You're right about the effect of prayers. Be it to God, god, Buddha, Allah, trees, wind, or whatever you believe in. Just a little positive energy does allot of good. We haven't always believed in it, and questioned it at times. But it's nice to know others will put a little good energy your way.
Can you keep us updated on why he passed ? Make us better riders for it ?
This is just a strong reminder that life is short. You don't know when God is going to say hey time is up. Make the most of everyday. And be CAREFUL
