is it true the 2003 GS is going to be the last one in this form i heard they are not importing them in usa anymore big shame for australia if they stop seeing they have changed the law in some states so you can ride them instead of 250's when you first get your license

Im in Brisbane (QLD) now, but I am from Sydney (NSW) - When did they change it so that you can ride the GS500? And what states is this now the case?
