Not so. The kill switch does not even get juice with the ignition off.

I suspect you just have one of those temperamental batteries that have a quite high rate of self-discharge. And yours would have been a case for my battery assisted push-start method, which was dismissed by most of the tough guys on the board. It may be wimpy, but it works, especially in a case like yours.

Put her in second, pull the clutch. Take up speed by running at the side, at the same time pop the clutch and push the start button. Together the rear wheel and the starter will usually kick her off.

Of course you have to pull in the clutch as soon as she starts, but that works quite smoothly.

Thats why I love PA... we have lots of hills to coast down  :thumb:
