Its getting around the 'net pretty fast!
And its already been said that it looks similar to an R6. That was my first reaction too.
Still - it does look very niceeee!

Eh, I like CBR's, but not this one. Like you said, it looks R6-ish and maybe even 2006-Gixxer-600-ish with the swooping, cutaway fairings. I like the older ones, like Pablo's. But that's just me.

Mmm, strip those plastics off, add a little single or dual headlight, yeah.

If only the fairings didn't blend with the gas tank/airbox cover.

I wonder if they'll be selling for 10k+ like the '06 R6.  I'm hearing rumours of 125ish hp and ~350 dry weight, should be a very sweet competitor.  I really dig the silver one.

I feel like I haven't seen the CBR in blue for a while...

Never mind, thank you Google Image Search. I don't remember seeing an '04 in blue, but apparently it existed.

i like it but i don't love it.  I would like to get my hands on a gsx600r or a daytona 675, they are pretty bikes.  i like the looks of the daytone A LOT better though, cause it just looks down right mean

That white and silver one is so freakin' awsome.  Honda is going to sell a brazilian of these, and I'm happy for them.  I bet this bike sets the standard in the class.
Just like all new bikes, GStwiners poo poo them at first, the eventually come around to liking them, then love them and dream about them.  I predict that this will happen with this bike as well.

The blue / silver is hot.  Thats a very nice bike, but I do agree it looks like a mesh between the R6 and GSXR.   :dunno_white:  It works for me.

Yeah, I agree, the bike looks sweet.  I wasn't sure about the cut out fairing when I first saw it, but I dig it now.  And the feature list looks fantastic.  But why no slipper clutch?  I just don't get that.  I've heard people argue that's it not necessary, yada, yada, yada, but given that all of the competition now offers it, I can't see why Honda didn't add it to the '07.

There's so much space between the headlight plastic and the fender.

Damn, everything I say is negative. Davey Downer, everyone!

Digital speedos are awsome.  I got so used to mine on the SV.  Now it takes me forever to figure out how fast I'm going on the Super Hawk.  60 mph is in the first 1/3 of the speedo, so the numbers are super small, super close together, and the gauge below and to the left of the tach.  This dash you've posted above is much better.

My guess is those are the settings on the steering damper.

Hard, Intermediate, Sport, Soft.  But I'm pulling random ideas from my anal pore.

nope, the steering damp is now all electronic

went to get the loan, and after siting down and figureing the money spent its just not worth it. i would put my self in a big bind. now if for some reason the gs and my truck went up in flames then yea we would be talking then

I'm one of them. I mean I get it and I'm guessing you love the idea you track junkie, but what about the people who just want to remove the fender now? Everyone is going to have an aftermarket brake light and turn signals now and you know how much those suck when talking visibility compared to stock ones. I absolutely will not get aftermarket lights anywhere on my RR, but if I was to pick up an 07, does that mean I'd have to in order to eliminiate the fender? Sucks because I'll ALWAYS pick function over form which means I'd be stuck with the ugly fender. Oh well.

if you want to keep the OEM taillight you can CUT the fender off below the light. not nearly as clean as the <06 models but better than the mudflap...I wouldnt be surprised if honda themselves came up with an alternative. the LED taillight unit someone posted on 600rr.net is pretty good...

hehe Cutting fenders is so ghetto. The previous owner did that to my GS fender. It looks like... someone cut the fender. :dunno_white:
